These photos are from our 20 mile round trip on the buggies to Wray Castle. We set off from our caravan park using the lanes to reduce the distance we had to do on the main road. We used the ferry to get across Lake Windermere, so that we could use the woodland track that follows the western shoreline up to Wray Castle.

We had a lovely day out, but found the couple of miles we did on the main road a bit daunting. As we were on our buggies, the ferry crossing was free of charge both ways. On the Saturday we met up with friends, so the buggies had a rest day. On the Sunday we went to one of the local pubs, for a lovely roast beef. Then started the packing, for the journey home on the Monday.
