This ramble is an easy Level 1 up to the base of the Avon Dam

Location : Near South Brent

Starting Point : Shipley Bridge car park

Route Surface : Tarmac apart from the car park

Category : Level 1

The biggest problem for people with smaller scooters or power chairs, is the car park as it is a bit rough. This ramble takes you alongside the River Avon for most of the route, so it is a gentle climb up to the base of the Dam.

If you go in early June there are loads of Rhododendrons, which look a picture. But it is a beautiful easy level one walk any time of year.
