This is a difficult walk due to the distance and that most of it was on road.

Discription : We started our ramble in Marsh Barton about 1200, making our way to the Twisted Oak Inn where we crossed the A30 Duel Carrageway on the footbridge into Ide village. We made our way to Dunchideock and on up to the Haldon Belvedere ( Lawrence Castle ) where we stopped for lunch.

We then made our way towards Starcross, crossing over the A38 and A380, then going down Jackdaw Hill leaving the Haldon Hills.

At the Black Forest Lodge crossroads we turned left, signed Kenn, at the next crossroads we headed for Exminster. From Exminster we headed pass the Swans Nest to join the cycle path following the canal back into Exeter.
