Dunmere Halt to Wensford Bridge

This is a ramble on the Camel Trail from Dunmere Halt up past the old China Clay drying sheds to the Snails Pace Cafe.

Location : Bodmin

Starting Point : Camel Trail carpark Borourgh Arms Dunmere

OS Grid Reference : SX048675

Distance : 13.4 Miles

Route Surface : Mostly fine Gravel

Category : Level 3

There are no toilets in the Camel Trail car park, disabled access is difficult into the Borough Arms, but there is a cramped level access toilet

This is an easy Level 3 as it is a good surface, just the distance that dictates its Category. I believe that this branch line was used solely to transport China Clay, as there is no reference to stations, as there is on the Bodmin to Padstow line.

This section is not as busy as the Bodmin to Padstow section.
